Message	XL1, GL1, sony also makes really good cams in their $2000+ range. I have also used some panasonic cameras that are really good, but aren't quite up to the picture quality of the 3CCD cameras mentioned above. The panasonic was a lot cheaper though and is almost as good. The best panasonics don't seem to ever be stocked in the US though.
